What is this place?

This website is a side project I had for a while. Jojo’s collector since I was a kid, I missed a centralized place to browse Jojo’s content.
As you may know, documenting a pseudo niche toy released before the internet was a thing is a really challenging task. By talking to collectors, browsing internet archives and looking at sales listings, I started to harvest more and more information and images to complete my quest. Even if this website and my knowledge will probably never be complete, it’s with joy that I’m sharing this website with you, visitor.

So, this is a wiki?

Yes. And no.

I want to showcase Jojo’s fans and nostalgic kids what is the big picture about these toys. Where do they come from, why is there 37 figures, why is your pack red and not blue.
jojos-archives.net is my place, where I feel home. This does not aim to replace the fantastic crazybonespedia. In fact, all data I gather about Jojo’s are firstly uploaded on the crazybonespedia, then added here. This site won’t host everything that’s on the wiki, nor will it try do mimic it.

All the content of jojos-archives.net is licenced – like crazybonespedia – CC-BY-SA.

Who are you?

When I joined the Gogo’s crazy bones community, I chose “Astro Bonehead” as a nickname. Astro being the European name of the 20th Jojo’s, AKA “No Neck”, my favorite.
I quickly started to add my little knowledge to the crazybones wiki, digging infinite rabbit holes and revamping the Jojo’s related pages.

Off line I’m a regular french guy, almost “Jojos-years-old”, who really enjoyed the Jacks through the 2002 re-release. Quickly began obsessed with those, and started a collection that continues twenty years later, passionate about finding new merch and recounting the story.

I don’t have a huge collection, I don’t have all the Jojo’s, nor all merch that exists on earth. But I like to document and share my findings about those toys. You can find me on different social platforms :

Or send me a nice postcard to contact (at) jojos-archives (dot) net 🙂
